Mr. Bonnie M. "Chief" Winfrey THOMSON, Ga. -- Funeral services for Mr. Bonnie M. "Chief" Winfrey, 75, of Thomson, were held on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at 2 p.m. at the First Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Appling, with Rev. Roscoe Perry, Pastor, officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Survivors are his wife of 51 years, Mrs. Lucy M. Winfrey; seven children, Marilyn Elaine (Milldege) Samuels, Shirley Rogers, Geraldine (Jessy) Freeman, Bonnie Wayne Winfrey, Barbara (David) White, Linda Wilson and Stephanie (Maurice) Harvin; four sisters, Dora Winfrey, Eddie Harris, Cornie Winfrey and Johnnie Bignon; nine grandchildren, one great-grandson, other relatives and friends.
