Ms. Kathryn Eidson Lewis of Thomson and Mr. Stacy Aaron Schultz of Los Angeles, Cal., were married on Saturday, April 16, 2005, at the home of the bride's parents, Cedar Crest Farm in Thomson. The Rev. Susannah Davis, a childhood friend of the bride, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles William and Gertrude "Trudy" Eidson Lewis of Thomson. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Kathryn McCarty Lewis and the late Mr. William Richard Lewis of Trenton, S.C., and the late Mr. and Mrs. James A. and Gertrude Tucker Eidson of Johnston, S.C.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Ronald H. and Bonnie Dykman Schultz of Arlington, S.D. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry H. and Kathryn Solem Schultz of Lake Norden, S.D., and Mr. and Mrs. Fred and Susan Dykman of Springfield, S.D.
The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her parents.
Mrs. Lori Davis of Leesburg, Va., the bride's college roommate, served as the matron of honor. The groom's father, Dr. Ronald Schultz, was the best man.
A cousin of the bride, Jessica Eidson from Johnston, S.C., served as ring bearer. The flower children were Jack and Hayden Spilles of Arlington, S.D. (nephews of the groom) and Jack and Olivia Davis of Leesburg, Va. Olivia is the bride's goddaughter.
The scripture reader was the groom's sister, Mrs. Paige Spilles of Arlington, S.D., and the soloist was Ms. Susie Falk, a friend of the bride from Berkeley.
Ms. Sally Hays of Augusta, a friend of the bride since kindergarten, made both the wedding and the groom's cakes.
