Cheerleader plants

Albria Jackson, 9, checks an order form during the Thomson Competitive Bulldogs plant sale Saturday. The cheering team had more than 5,000 plants, trees and shrubs for sale in the Thomson Middle School parking lot. The plants were donated by the Center for Applied Research and McCorkle Nursery. Donna Heaton, organizer, said the proceeds would help fund competitions.
