WARRENTON, Ga. -- Mr. Ira V. Dunham, 82, entered into rest April 21, 2005, at University Hospital. He was the son of the late William Ira Dunham and the late Clyde Tucker Dunham.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2005 at Lowe Funeral Home with Dr. Clayton Galloway, Sr., and Brother Chad Crews officiating. Interment followed at Fellowship Baptist Church in Gibson.
Mr. Dunham was a lifelong native of Warren County. He was retired from Jebco as a welder. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Doris Dunham; one daughter, Frances (James) Johnson, Warrenton; two sons, Tommy (Debbie) Dunham, Waynesboro, and John (Vickie) Dunham, Warrenton; two granddaughters, Jeanne (Tim) Landrum, Warrenton and Tammy (Larry) Haire, Thomson; two grandsons, Jason and Jonathan Dunham, both of Warrenton; and one great-granddaughter, Courtney Landrum, Warrenton. Additional survivors also include four sisters, Estelle Whitehead, Gibson; Lois Lyons, Warrenton; Grace Chalker, Dublin; and Louise Holley, Gibson.
Pallbearers were Ray Toulson, Gary Thompson, Robert Johnson, Charles Johnson, Tim Landrum, and Larry Haire.
Lowe Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
