Mrs. Peggy Powell Moore
Retired Registered Nurse

WASHINGTON, Ga. -- Mrs. Peggy Powell Moore, 74, died Tuesday evening, April 19, 2005, at Wills Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Moore was a native of Wilkes County, and had been a registered nurse at Wills Memorial Hospital for a number of years. She also had been a Health Occupations teacher at Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School for 17 years. She was the wife of the late G. W. Moore, and was a member of the Washington First Baptist Church.

Graveside services were Friday morning at 11 at Resthaven Cemetery with Rev. Albert Huyck officiating.

She is survived by two sons, G.W. 'Chuck' Moore, Jr., and wife Linda, of Watkinsville, and David Moore, and wife Liz, of Thomson; one sister, Eleanor Andrews, of Sparta; and three grandchildren, Daniel Moore, Kirk Lovett, and Thomas Moore.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ebenezer Baptist church, or to the Washington First Baptist Church.
