Mrs. Janice Markins Spivey

THOMSON, Ga. -- Mrs. Janice Markins Spivey, 62, entered into rest Monday, April 18, 2005 at her residence.
Memorial services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 21, at Sheppard Funeral Home Chapel, Gibson, with Rev. Steve Lamb officiating.
Mrs. Spivey was a member of the McDuffie County V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary and she enjoyed fishing and sewing. Survivors are her mother, Mrs. Lorene M. Markins of Gibson; one daughter, Tracy Pool of Dearing; two sons, Johnny Lee Usry and Earl Humphries, Jr. of Gray,; three sisters, Barbara Johns of Wilmer, Ala., Alice Adams of Chatsworth, and Deborah Gagner of Grovetown; two brothers, Otto Markins of Valdosta, and James L. Markins of Gibson and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Mrs. Connie Markins Messerly.
Sheppard Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
