Thomson finished the year with a 5-5-2 record.
"Overall it was a good season for us," said Head Coach Brian Usry.Ý "Our record was not quite as good as I had hoped, but the team's style of play improved dramatically.ÝThe team played well this season and represented both the school and community in a positive manner."
Coach Usry said Thomson looks to be strong next year, even though the Bulldogs are losing seven seniors, including standouts Jes™s Ramos and Carnell Lester. This year's team had seven freshmen, including three that saw significant playing time.
"The future appears to be a positive one for Thomson High soccer," he said.
And he praised this year's team for their attitude on and off the field.
"I am extremely proud of this year's team," he said. "They were very dedicated, they worked hard every day, and did whatever I asked of them."
