Terry and Brenda Murphey of Dearing would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Hillary Michelle Murphey of Statesboro, to Austin Greene Zeigler of Statesboro, son of Perry and Valerie Zeigler of Statesboro. The wedding is planned for May 17, 2008, 2 p.m., at Fletcher Memorial Baptist Church in Statesboro.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Robert and Betty Lazar and Louise Murphey and the late John Murphey. She is a graduate of Thomson High School and Georgia Southern University where she earned a bachelor's degree in music education. She is presently a music teacher.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Jerry and Trudie Zeigler, Frank and Cynthia Sexton and Dan and Sue Drinnen. He is a graduate of Statesboro High School and attended Georgia Southern University where he majored in construction management. He is employed by H.A. Sack Company.
