Mr. and Mrs. Harold "Deake" Solomon, of Hephzibah, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessi Pearl Solomon, to John Micheal Veldboom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Veldboom of Waynesboro.
The wedding is planned for 7 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2007. Both the wedding and reception will be held at Sacred Heart Cultural Center of Augusta.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Solomon of Thomson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Grant Williams of Kingman, Ariz. She is a 2002 graduate of Thomson High School and is currently employed by First National Bank of Waynesboro.
The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Veldboom of Ootsburg, Wis. He is a 2001 graduate of Edmund Burke Academy and is currently employed by Send the Light.
John and Jessi are both active members of First Baptist Church of Waynesboro.
