THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral services for Mrs. Beatrice Hill Cody, of Thomson, were held on Sunday, April 29, 2007, at 3:30 p.m., at the Springfield Baptist Church with Rev. F. D. Favors presiding and Rev. Bennie Boyer serving as eulogist. Interment was in the Westview Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Horace (Marie) Cody and Willie (Corene) Cody; two daughters, Annie (Robert) King and Rosie Lee Dawson (James Neal); a sister, Leola Cody, a sister-in-law, Claudia Hill; 50 grandchildren; 60 great grandchildren; 60 great great-grandchildren; a devoted grandson, Melvin Shank; a devoted granddaughter, Shirley Kendrick; two godsons; Shawn Stapleton and Bennie Bentley; devoted friends, Chatty Hill and children, Eula Pearl Wilson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
