THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral service for Mrs. Georgia Mae Jones, 83, of Thomson, was held on Sunday, May 4, 2008, at 1 p.m. at New Zion A.M.E. Church with Rev. Luther Rogers officiating. Interment was in the churchyard cemetery.
Survivors: companion, Ollie Rogers, Thomson; son, John H. (Brenda) Jones, Thomson; stepdaughter, Louise Moss, Thomson; stepson, Robert Harris, Thomson; two granddaughters, Sara (Garvin) Brown and Michelle (Bill) Rogers, all of Thomson; a grandson, David (Linda) Rogers, Augusta; eight great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Katrina Roberts, Thomson; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
