The first Neighborhood Watch Program meeting was held at the Dearing Town Hall on Monday, April 17.
Councilman Judson Story said the meeting was a success, but more citizens are needed to get involved. The next meeting will be at 7 p.m., Thursday, June 1. The meeting is scheduled to take place in the Town Hall, but if more than 25 people are interested in attending, Mr. Story said they will announce a different meeting place.
Mr. Story said attendance at the meeting does not obligate anyone to do anything, they will just learn valuable information and of opportunities to get involved.
