Deacon Edward L. Hamilton
DEARING, Ga. - Homegoing celebration for Deacon Edward L. Hamilton, 48, better known as Big Buddy, was held Friday, May 5, 2006 at 2 p.m. at the United House of Prayer for All People, Dearing, with St. Elder Jeffery Wilcher, officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors are his mother, Sis. Rosa Hamilton of Trenton, N.J.; wife, Mrs. Patricia Hamilton and daughter, Kimberly N. Ivey, both of Warrenton; two sons, Mr. Sir Mario Antwan (Patricia) Hamilton, Jr. of Dearing and Mr. Edward Hamilton, Jr. of Richmond, Va.; twin brother, Deacon Edwin Hamilton of Augusta; three devoted cousins who grew up as brothers and sisters, Sis. Mary Roberts, St. Geanette Shelley and Elder John Wilkins all of Dearing; special cousin, Valarie Moment; godmother, St. Agnes Allen, Dearing; four grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
