AUGUSTA, Ga. - Ms. Ida Swan, 85, beloved wife of the late Rev. Charles Andrew Swan for 46 years, entered into rest Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at Kentwood Home.
Mrs. Swan was a member of Hill Baptist Church and retired as a teacher. She is survived by a sister, Agnes Dowda, Thomson, and a number of very special nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held 11 a.m. May 5, 2006 at Way's Baptist Church Cemetery, (Stellaville Community) Wrens, with Dr. Mike Ruffin officiating, assisted by Rev. George Lauderdale Family will receive friends after the service at the Way's Baptist Church fellowship hall.
Memorials may be made to the Hill Baptist Church, Augusta, Ways Baptist Church (Stellaville Community) Wrens, or to your choice of charity.
James Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
