THS art students get fired up about project
Thomson High School ceramics students gathered at Art Teacher Claudia Wells' home on Friday evening to participate in a Raku firing. Students glazed their pieces and fired them in a special kiln. The pottery was then dropped, glowing hot, into a bin full of newspaper and sawdust to give the glaze a multicolored, crackled look.
