HARLEM, Ga. -- Entered into rest Friday, April 29, 2005, at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Mrs. Evelyn Ivey Luckey, 84, wife of the late Mr. Chesley E. Luckey.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Sunday, May 1, 2005, at Silver Run Baptist Church, Harlem, with the Rev. Jerry Pitman, Rev. Al Gilliland, and Rev. Arthur Gunn officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Luckey, a native of Warren County, was a homemaker and a member of Silver Run Baptist Church and the Adult's Sunday School Class.
Survivors include two sons, Bob Luckey, Augusta, and Tommy Luckey, Dearing; two daughters, Jane Addison, Volant, Penn., and Judy Gay, Dearing; three sisters, Sara Norris, Appling, Betty Hobbs, Grovetown, and Frances Montgomery, Augusta; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ken Richards, Joe Dansby, Mike Fuller, Ronnie Gay, Melvin Ansley, and Jimmy Ivey. Honorary pallbearers were David Holley and Shelton Radford.
