Mrs. Lola Edwards McGahee HARLEM, Ga. -- Entered into rest Wednesday, April 27, 2005, Mrs. Lola Edwards McGahee, 86, wife of the late Martin McGahee. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2005, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Grovetown, with Mike Reagan officiating. Interment was in the Walker Cemetery, Adams Chapel Road, Dearing. Survivors include two sons, Clayton McGahee, Charlotte, N.C., and Richard McGahee, of Warrenton; four daughters, Doris Garner of Harlem, Beth Bays of Atlanta, Frances Griffith of Norwood, and Betty Dye of Gray; and 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Chris Thomas, Matthew Hux, Mark Reagan, Dave Gant, Cory Cook and Will Shirley. Starling Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Web posted on Thursday, May 12, 2005
