BONEVILLE, Ga. - Mr. James Etheridge "Jim" McGuyton, Sr., 64, beloved husband of Betty Ann McGuyton, died on Sunday, May 7, 2006 in Brevard County, Florida. Services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 14, 2006, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Steve Lamb officiating. Burial was in Westview Cemetery.
Mr. McGuyton was a native of Atlanta, a truck driver for more than 45 years and was owner and operator of J&B Trucking.
He was preceded in death by his mother Esterleen Howard McGuyton, and is survived by wife: Betty Ann Meadows McGuyton, of Boneville, two daughters: Nicky & Victor Howell of Thomson, and Cathy Williams of Appling, two sons: James E. McGuyton, Jr. and Willis & Paige Purvis all of Thomson, daughter: Deborah Riexinger, of Atlanta, father & step-mother: Etheridge and Marie Wilson McGuyton of Junction City, Kan., two sisters: Connie Brannan of Littleton, Col., and Patricia Riffel of Junction City, Kan., two brothers: Ronald McGuyton of Panama, and Donald McGuyton of Casper, Wy.; nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, several ants, uncles, cousins nieces, nephews and friends.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
