Mr. Horace Thomas THOMSON, Ga. -- Funeral services for Mr. Horace Thomas, 67, were held on Sunday, May 15, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. at the Greenbranch Baptist Church, Thomson, Rev. Ricky Battle, Jr., pastor, officiating. Interment was in the Society Cemetery, Mesena. Mr. Thomas was a Hancock County native and a member of the Greater St. James A.M.E. Church. He was retired from APAC after 30 years of service. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mamie Carter Thomas of Thomson; a son, Teddy (Shonda) Daniels of Thomson; a stepson, Johnny Carter of Thomson; a daughter, Myrtle Calhoun of Thomson; a sister, Dorothy (Joe) Massaline of Sebring, Fla.; brother, Uylessa Thomas of Thomson; grandson, Jonan Carter of Thomson; a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives and friends.
