The town of Dearing was bustling on Saturday, May 7, for the Mayfest. My compliments to the Planning Committee and all the people behind the scenes that made it such a success!
It was quite evident that much hard work went into planning such a historic event. I was amazed at the turn out of visitors from near and far who came to enjoy the Mayfest.
The response to preserving and restoring the old Dearing Gym is most worthy. Thanks to everyone who made a giant step forward and keeping the plans on schedule. The cookbooks show tremendous efforts and planning too and will be a keepsake with the historic information and pictures. Thanks!
