Our hats are off to everyone in the community who came through to make the 2005 Relay for Life such a success.
McDuffie County's collective turnout at the event says so much about our community.
Just Look at it this way: Just 30 miles down the road, Augusta's Relay for Life -- which taps into a much larger economic base than our Relay -- only set a goal of $240,000.
That's only $35,000 more than we raised.
McDuffie County has many reasons to pat themselves on the back this week. More than 205,000 of them.
