Doug and Wanda Edwards of Thomson are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Holly Rachel Edwards, of Thomson, to Thomas Allen Peevy of Thomson, the son of Rev. D.L. and Carolyn Peevy of Elberton.
The wedding will be held December 6, 2008, beginning at 6 p.m. at Washington Heights Baptist Church. Following the ceremony, a reception will be held in the fellowship hall.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Grace Drake and the late William Drake and Rosa Edwards and the late Tim Edwards, all of Thomson. She is a graduate of Thomson High School and Augusta Technical College. She is currently employed at Regional Open MRI.
The future groom is the grandson of the late Wilbur and Callie O'Neal of Savannah and the late Bennie and Ellie Peevy of Red Level, Ala. He is a graduate of Thomson High School and Gardner Webb. He is currently employed at Augusta Iron and Steel.
