Willis to wed Knox in August

Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Willis of Sumner, Ga., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Rebecca Tyler to Andrew Hall Knox, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Hall Knox of Thomson. The wedding will be held Aug. 9, 2008, at Pinson Memorial Methodist Church in Sylvester, Ga.

Miss Willis is the granddaughter of Mrs. Wilson Heisler of Sylvester and the late Mr. Wilson Heisler and Mrs. Ralph Haywood of Augusta and the late Vaughan Willis of Sylvester. She is the sister of Courtney Willis of Atlanta and Casey Willis of Tifton, Ga. Miss Willis graduated from Worth County High School and attended the University of Georgia, where she was a member of CORE dance company. She currently teaches dance at Pulse Dance Center and Aquinas High School in Augusta.

Mr. Knox is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William Tomlinson of Stone Mountain, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Edward Knox of Thomson. He is the brother of Caroline Knox of Athens. Mr. Knox is a graduate of Thomson High School and the University of Georgia where he earned a B.B.A. in risk management and insurance. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Order. At the present time, Mr. Knox is Vice President of Watson & Knox, Inc.
