PORT WENTWORTH, Ga. - Mr. Harry L. Lambert, Sr., 59, died Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at home in the care of Hospice Savannah.
He was born in Millen, Ga., on February 21, 1948, to the late Walter L. and Lucille Reynolds Lambert. He lived most of his life in Hardeeville, SC. He was a member of Carpenters Local #256. He was a millwright by trade working for Stone Container, Willamette, Mor-PPM, and Fru-Con.
Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Loretta Coffield Lambert of Port Wentworth; two daughters and sons-in-law, Angela (Lambert) and Allen Sanders of Rincon, Rebecca (Lambert) and Brian Hutcheson of Ellabell; one son, Harry "Lee" Lambert, Jr. of Guyton; adopted daughter, Rebecca Hume of Port Wentworth; one brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Tita Lambert of Augusta; sister-in-law, Rita Barber of Thomson; brother-in-law, Pete Coffield of Harlem; grandchildren: April, Ashley, Jacob, Cody, Kaleb, Zachary, Peyton, Tyler, Jennifer, Melissa; great-grandchildren, Shaylee and Kinsey; nieces, Diana, Timmie, Nicole, Tamara, and Breena; nephews, Ricky and Preston; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services were held Saturday in the chapel with Rev. Dusty Reynolds officiating.
Honorary pallbearers were the grandchildren.
