THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Ila Rea Bussell Wilson, 91, widow of Mr. Ernest Wilson died Wednesday May 17, 2006 in the St. Joseph Hospital.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Sunday May 21, 2006 in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Garvin officiating. Burial followed in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Augusta.
Pallbearers were Michael Hall, Ronnie, Bussell, Billy Hall, Ernest Bussell, L.J. Stewart and Jack Brock, Jr.
A native of Laurens County, Mrs. Wilson was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church and had worked for the Graniteville Company.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by a sister: Wilhemina Wylds of Augusta and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Hospice.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
