Mrs. Maria Jane Jenkins

KENTON, OH -- Mrs. Maria Jane Jenkins, 89, of Kenton, and formerly of Huntsville, died Friday, May 6, 2005, in the home of her daughter in Kenton.

The funeral was held on Tuesday, May 10, at the First Church of God in Bellefontaine. Burial was in the Huntsville Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by Hubert C. Jenkins, her husband of 52 years; a son, Kermit Leon Jenkins; a daughter, Alice Jenkins Seeley; a brother, Howard Roger Barger; sisters, Betty Stoker and Rachel Karis; and a son-in-law, Robert Taylor.

Survivors include sons, B.E. (Gene) Jenkins (Eloise) of Thomson, David Jenkins (Beverly), and Roy Jenkins (Jackie) both of Bellefontaine; daughter, Rita Jane Taylor of Kenton; brother, James Barger of Haddon Heights, N.J.; son-in-law, Wayne Seeley of Kenton; 13 grandchildren; 16 great- grandchildren; and one great- great-grandson.

She attended the First Church of God in Bellefontaine and Ridgeway, and Bayvale Baptist Church in Augusta, where she was a member of the TEL Class. She was also a member of Hamma Chapter 312 Order of Eastern Star in Belle Center, OH.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 21, at 11 a.m. at Bayvale Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. James Bland.
