THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral services for Mrs. Irene Cummings, 59, of Thomson, were held on Saturday, May 26, 2007, at 2 p.m. at the Greater St. James A.M.E. Church, Thomson, with Elder Eddie Moore serving as eulogist. Interment was in Westview Cemetery.
Survivors are husband, Robert Cummings; three sons, Willie (Jeanette), Jay (Alberta), and Charles (Patricia) Cummings, all of Thomson; two daughters, Mary Ann Kendrick and Essie Irene (Cornell) Hall, both of Augusta; three sisters, Mary (Robert Jr.) Jones, Daisy Pearl Cummings, Sarah (Johnny) Morgan, all of Thomson; four brothers, Charlie C. Nelson, Izel Cummings, both of Warrenton, William Cummings, and Robert Lee Bell, both of Atlanta; 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
