AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Martha Allen Dunn entered into rest Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at the University Hospital.
Funeral services were held Sunday, May 29, 2005 at 5 p.m. at Simonia Baptist Church, Grovetown, with Rev. Earnest Turner officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
She was a native of Columbia County and a member of Simonia Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board.
Survivors are one son, Charles (Janice) Dunn; four daughters, Mary (Willie) Burnett, Shirley (Sam) Hacker, Diann (Steven Dunbar) Cain, Augusta, Sheila Dunn, New Jersey; three brothers, Guy (Ruth) Johnson, Thomson, Bailey Lee Johnson, Augusta, Charlie Johnson, Columbia Co.; two sisters, Lizzie Johnson, Chicago, Ill., Georgia Samuel, Columbia Co.; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Williams Funeral Home was in charge of services.
