Ms. India Butler THOMSON, Ga.- The funeral for Ms. India Butler, 94, of Thomson, was held Friday, May 28, 2004 at 3 p.m. at the Greater St. James A.M.E. Church, Thomson, Ga. Rev. Gerald Caldwell, pastor, officiating. Interment was in the Westview Cemetery. Ms. Butler was a McDuffie County native and a member and the mother of the Greater St. James A.M.E. Church where she was a lifelong member. Survivors are her nephews, Luther J. Butler of New York, Willie E. Butler of Augusta, Leonard D. Butler of Baltimore, Md., Marvin Butler of Queens, New York; nieces, Hattie Bell Butler of Augusta, Patricia Bennifield of Augusta, Peggy Butler of Baltimore, Md.; cousins, James Parks of Thomson, Peola Riddick of Irvington, N.J., Irene Taylor of Brooklyn, N.Y., Inez Williams of Uniodcale, New York; a host of great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
