Mr. Anthony D. Duckworth, Sr. THOMSON, Ga.- The funeral for Mr. Anthony D. Duckworth, Sr. of Twin Oaks Rd., Thomson, was held on Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at 2 p.m. at the Springfield Baptist Church, Thomson, Rev. F. D. Favors, pastor, officiating. Interment was in the Bethel A.M.E. Church Cemetery in Norwood, Ga. Mr. Duckworth was a McDuffie County native, a graduate of Thomson High School and employed as a supervisor for the City of Thomson. Survivors are his wife, Brenda Duckworth; a son, Anthony D. Duckworth, Jr.; a daughter, Shanquanishia D. Duckworth; father, William Duckworth; a sister, Faye H. Duckworth, all of Thomson; two brothers, Larry Lampkin of Columbus, Ohio and William T. Duckworth of Atlanta, Ga. and a host of other relatives and friends.
