THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie Sue Collins, 71, of Thomson, were held on Friday, May 30, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Thankful Baptist Church, Gibson, with Rev. Leroy Hudson officiating. Interment was in the churchyard cemetery.
Survivors include five daughters, Mary E. Carter and Janice (Larry) Crawford, of Augusta, Patricia (Kevin) Baird, Columbia, S.C., Geraldine (Herman) Brisbon-Mathis, Thomson, and Candes (Jeff) Hood, Springlake, N.C.; one brother, Frankie Lee Carter, Thomson; five stepdaughters, Charlenia Collins and Betty Crawford, both of Boston, Mass., Deborah Griffin, Linda Hunt, and Monica Murphy, all of Thomson; 13 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
