THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral service for Mrs. Lula Mae Ivey, 80, formerly of Thomson, was held on Monday, June 2, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Thomson, with Rev. Darnell Brantley, Sr., officiating. Interment was in the churchyard cemetery.
Survivors include five daughters, Annie Lou Parker, North Augusta, SC, Etta Tillery, Mary Ivey Clark, and Rose Ivey Carr, all of Charlotte, NC, and Lurinda Ivey Chapple, Atlanta; a son, James Fitzgerald Ivey, Dallas, Tex.; four sons-in-law, James Tillery, Ray Clark, Tyrone Carr and Johnny Tillman; a daughter-in-law, Denise Ivey; four sisters, Queen Collins, Thomson, Edith Curry, Bessie Callaway (Henry), and Eliza Brevard (James), all of Charlotte, NC; seven grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Thomson Funeral System, Thomson, was in charge of arrangements.
