HARLEM, Ga. - Funeral service for Mrs. Mary Ellen Williams, 67 of Harlem, was held Saturday, June 2, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Simonia Baptist Church, Appling, with the Rev. Ernest Turner, Sr., officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, John D. Williams; devoted friend /caretaker, Matthew Johnson; three daughters, Belinda (Clarence) McCray, Rex, Eva Germany and LaKiesha N. Williams, both of Harlem; three sons, John (Laverne) Williams, Augusta, Gregory (Patricia) Williams, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Gerry D. Williams, Ft. Lee, Va.; devoted goddaughter, Sabrina Leverett, Harlem; 25 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; and other relatives & friends.
