Mr. John Willie Woods, Sr. WARRENTON, Ga. - Funeral services for Mr. John Willie Woods, Sr., of Warrenton, were held on Saturday, June 4, 2005 at 1 p.m. at the Greenwood Baptist Church, Barnett, Rev. Coleman Hayes officiating. Interment was in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, Thomson. Survivors are devoted wife, Mrs. Louise Woods, Warrenton; mother, Mrs. Ruth E. Demmons, Warrenton; six children, Rev. Lester Woods, Warrenton, Mary Sauls, Carrollton, John Woods, Jr., Decatur, Connie Burley, Norwood, Yketter Woods, Douglasville, and Luria Woods, Thomson; three brothers, Zurbie Woods, Warrenton, William Woods and Jesse Woods, both of Atlanta; two sisters, Veronica Bolton, Atlanta, and Velita Woods, Decatur; 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, other relatives and friends.
