AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Laurie L. Owens, 99, of Augusta, entered into rest May 30, 2005 at Traditions Health Care, Lithonia.
She was the beloved wife of the late Delmer Owens.
Survivors include her daughter, Mozelle O. Martin (Cleveland), Lithonia; son, Delmer O. Owens, Sampson, Ala.; grandchildren, Karen Rhodes, Craig Martin, Robyn Crow and Julie Fryar; great-grandchildren, Ryan Rhodes, Shannon Rhodes, Sawyer Crow and Saulton Crow.
Mrs. Owens was a native of Richmond County but lived in Lithonia since 1971. She was a former member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and a member of Metro-Heights Baptist Church.
Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2005 at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Dr. Jeff Perkins officiating.
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
