THOMSON, Ga.- Mr. Ben Waller, 80, died Friday, May 28, 2004, at his residence.
Funeral services were held Sunday, May 30, 2004, at 5 p.m., graveside at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Rev. David Sisler officiating.
Mr. Waller was a native and lifelong resident of McDuffie County. He was retired as loading foreman for Martin-Marietta. He was a former tenter at Fountain Campground. He was a member of Macedonia Methodist Church where he attended The Adult Sunday School Class.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Mrs. Geraldine M. Waller; his son, Jimmy (Jane) Waller, Thomson; two daughters, Mrs. Lynda (Henry) Fluker, Thomson, Mrs. Kay (Mike) Slate, Oakdale, Minnesota; seven grandchildren and six great- grandchildren. Mr. Waller was also preceded in death by a son, Samuel Henry Waller.
Pallbearers were grandsons and nephews.
The family asks that memorials be made to the Family Life Center, building fund of Macedonia Methodist Church.
