WARRENTON, Ga. - Mr. Charles Edward "ED" Plemmons, Sr., 68, husband of Mrs. Deborah Baker Plemmons, died Saturday evening at McDuffie Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel with Doug Baker officiating. Burial followed in the Plemmons Family Cemetery.
Mr. Plemmons, a native of Buncombe County, N.C., had been a Warren County resident for several years. He was a retired maintenance worker and served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Plemmons was a Bapitst.
Additional survivors include his wife, Deborah Baker Plemmons, one son, Charles (Lisa) Plemmons, Jr., one daughter, Beth Fultz, four grandchildren, Carl, Megan, Sarah, Samantha, one great grandchild, Nevaeh Christopher, one brother, David A. Plemmons, Aunt, Aileen Plemmons, one half sister, Billie R. Aiken, one step daughter, Stephanie (Matt) Pounds, one step son, Robert (Dulcie) Williams, five step grandchildren, Nick, Ayla, Robbie, Blaine, and Mason.
Lowe Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
