THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral services for Mother Ethel Roberson, 87, Thomson, were held on Friday, June 6, 2008, at 1 p.m. at the Springfield Baptist Church, Thomson, with the Rev. F.D. Favors officiating and Rev. Henderson Roberson, Jr., serving as eulogist. Interment was in Westview Cemetery in Thomson.
Survivors are four children, Rev. Henderson Roberson, Jr. (Nettie), Thomson, Elaine Meeks (Rev. Dr. Elon), Columbus, Kenneth Lee Roberson, New York, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Trevor Roberson (Valerie), Thomson and DeWayne Roberson of Atlanta; two great grandchildren, Hassan Willis and Lauren Claire Roberson, both of Thomson; two sisters-in-law, Mackie Lee Turman (Earl), Thomson and Jessie Bentley, Warrenton; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, other relatives and associates.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
