HARLEM, Ga. - Funeral services for Mr. Edgar E. Thomas, 52, of Harlem, were held Wednesday, June 7, 2006, at 2 p.m. at the Solid Rock Baptist Church with Rev. Willie J. Williams officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Thomas was Columbia County native and the son of the late Ms. Erma L. Thomas. He united with the Solid Rock Baptist Church at an early age, was a faithful employee of Uniroyal, Plant Vogle and Daniel Field Aviation.
Survivors are wife, Juanita Thomas of Thomson; son, Derek Thomas, Thomson; two daughters, Petina Thomas, Thomson and Tajwana Patterson of Augusta; two grandchildren, Marcell Patterson and Robert Patterson of Augusta; two sisters, Lois (Freddie) Gibson-Culbreth, Mildred Thomas and one brother, Jeffery Thomas all of Augusta; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
