Cheryl Kittrell Hawkins and Donald Lee (Trapper) Reese, Jr. were married at 7 p.m., Saturday, June 4, 2005 at Come Away Plantation. Rev.Dr. Phil Pilgrim officiated.

Kittrell is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brooks Allen Hawkins of Thomson. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Louise S. Adkins of Evans, the late John F. Adkins and Mrs. Audrey M. Hawkins of Thomson, the late Hubert A. Hawkins. She is a graduate of Augusta Technical Institute and employed by Hawkins Logging & Timber Company in Warrenton, Ga.

Trapper is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Don L. Reese of Thomson. He is the grandson of Mrs. Marcie N. Pilgrim, the late Clarence W. Pilgrim and Mrs. Mary M. Reese of Thomson, the late Dewey L. Reese. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and is employed by Hawkins Logging and Timber Company in Warrenton, Ga.

Given in marriage by her father, Kittrell chose her sister-in-law, Stephanie Schultz Hawkins of Washington, Ga., to serve as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Lauren Anastasia Allen, Candy Butler Candler, Lacey Elizabeth Land and Leigh McCorkle Smith all of Thomson; all friends of the bride.

Flower girls were Caroline Elizabeth Baston, Gainesville, Ga., cousin of the bride and Shayna Ella Hawkins, Washington, Ga., niece of the bride.

Donald chose his father to serve as best man. Groomsmen were Allen Shane Hawkins, Washington, Ga., brother of the bride; Kevin Benjamin Cowart, Adam Russell Hill, friends of the groom and Nicholas Barrett Powers, Thomson; cousin of the groom.

Junior groomsmen were John Chadwick Adkins and Jordan Chase Adkins, both of Powder Springs, Ga., cousins of the bride. Junior ushers were Michael Robert Adkins, Powder Springs, Ga., cousin of the bride; William Lee Hammond, Jr., cousin of the groom; Corey Glenn Hillman and Dalton Lee Hillman, cousins of the bride; all of Thomson.

A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at Come Away Plantation. The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in St. Lucia and are residing in Thomson.
