We asked Bicycle Ride Across Georgia participants about their impression of McDuffie County.
Jeff Rogers, Decatur, Ga. -- "Everything has been very pleasant. It's been great, you can't ask for anything better. Now, if it rains, I'll change my mind."
Jeri Groves -- Alpharetta, Ga. -- "It has a beautiful new high school and we are enjoying staying on the campus."
Gary Pichon -- Dawsonville, Ga. -- "It looks like an awful lot of the counties in Georgia. As you come through the county, it's obviously got some wonderful places of old historic homes and well-kept houses."
Ross Sherman -- Wiggins, Miss. -- "I like this place. The pavement was smooth coming in and so that was nice. The town is very clean and the people are really friendly."
Melba Young -- Chataignier, La. -- "We enjoy this school setting, although they think we haven't gotten enough exercise since we have to walk all the way around to get in the gymnasium and cafeteria. It's a lot of walking."
Patricia Cowan -- Windsor, S.C. -- "It's really nice. The facilities here at the school are great and the Bubba Burgers were out of this world."
Gary Bunde -- Pensacola, Fla. -- "The town is beautiful, but it's sure hilly. I'm really looking forward to a restful visit before we take off tomorrow."
Ken Naylor -- Pensacola, Fla. -- "I rode around downtown and saw the old courthouse. That section is very beautiful. The library is nice -- it's quiet with books."
