MARTINEZ, Ga. - Funeral military honors services for Mr. Gerald E. Cluckey, were held Wednesday, June 23, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Elliott Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Beasley officiating.
Mr. Cluckey, 74, died on Monday, June 20, 2005 at his residence in Martinez.
Mr. Cluckey was retired from Ford Motor Company as a repairman belonging to U.A.W. In the Marines, he was one of the Chosin Few. He received the Purple Heart and served in the Korean Conflict. He belonged to the V.F.W. #640 of Augusta.
He is survived by his wife, Sigrid; three sons, Jerry (wife, Barbara) Cluckey of Dearing, Michael (Marcine) Gudakunst of Bradner, Ohio, Steven (wife, Tyra) Ledbetter of Louisville; two daughters, Kay (husband, John) Emennegger of Toledo, Ohio, Carolyn (husband, David) Dybala of Toledo, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Vickie Cluckey of Highland, Mich. He was preceded in death by one son, Keith Allen Cluckey. He is also survived by five brothers, Bob Cluckey, Lindsey Cluckey, Jim Cluckey and Rick Cluckey, all of Michigan, and Kenny Cluckey of Pa.; four sisters, Bea Mcmanus of Ill., Eileen Williams of Martinez, Jeannie Johns and Carol Finley of Mich.; 17 Grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A special friend was an honorary pallbearer, Jack Hollingsworth of Hephzibah.
Elliott Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
