THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Robert Henry "Buddy" Wilson of Thomson entered into rest June 22, 2006 at his residence.
Survivors are his wife, Jewell Cranford Wilson, Thomson; sons, Mike Cushman, Thomson, Mark Wilson, Thomson, Wayne Wilson (Ashley), Thomson; mother, Lucy Richards, Thomson; brother, Ray Wilson, Elberton, Ga.; sister, Barbara Scott, Laurens, S.C.; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Wilson was born in Wilkes County. He was retired as a Carpenter and Well Driller . Mr. Wilson was also a member of Mallorysville Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father John Henry Wilson and a brother Charles Lee Wilson.
Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 25, 2006 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larron Pilgrim officiating. Graveside Services followed at 4 p.m. in the Mallorysville Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Donnie Berry officiating.
Pallbearers were Buck Anderson, Edgar Hendrick, Shawn Epps, Chris Almon, Darren Scott and Jared Scott. Honorary Pallbearers were Stan Driver and Bobby Scott.
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
