|
Left centerfielder Jackson Dye from Wrens drives a base hit for the East Georgia Hurricanes during their game against Valdosta Thursday at Sweetwater Park. The Hurricanes won the game, part of USSSA tournament, by a score of 9-1. The Hurricanes ended up in third place at the end of the tournament, a ranking that thrilled head coach Scott Swann. "I'm more than pleased at how we played," he said. "The guys played better than I ever hoped they could have played."
