THOMSON, Ga. - The funeral for Mrs. Elsie Carter of Thomson was Saturday, July 1, 2006, at noon at the Brinkley Chapel Baptist Church, Thomson, Rev. Ricky Battle, officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors are a son, L.C. Carter of Thomson; four sisters, Carrie B. (Garney) Grissom, Mesena, Annie P. Allen, Columbus, Ohio, Rosa L. Combs., Harlem, and Verna Embry, Dearing; brother, Charlie (Mozella) Gresham of Washington; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
