LAGRANGE, Ga. - Mrs. Miriam Claire Croft, 79, wife of 65 years to Lawton W. Croft, entered into rest Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at Hospice LaGrange.
Mrs. Croft was born on March 25, 1927 in Augusta, and was the daughter of the late M.W. and Lula Randall Spradley. She was a homemaker and a member of West Acres Baptist Church in Martinez.
Family members in addition to her husband include daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Wayne Pickard of Martinez, Candy and Don Ellison of LaGrange; grandchildren and spouses, Daryl and Susan Pickard of Thomson, Debbie and Scott Hammond of Martinez, Karen and Paul Pinkston of Amarillo, TX, Keith and Stephanie Ellison of LaGrange, Brian Ellison of New Orleans, LA; great-grandchildren, Clay Hammond and Wes Hammond of Martinez, Ashley Pickard of Thomson, Joshua Pinkston, Lindsay Pinkston and Brooklynne Pinkston of Amarillo, TX, Neal Ellison and Averett Ellison of LaGrange.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 29, 2006 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Larry Harmon and Rev. Don Ellison officiating. Interment followed in Westover Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the East Vernon Baptist Church Mission Fund, 2918 Roanoke Road, LaGrange, GA 30240.
