THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Ann Kirbo Norris Cross, 78, wife of Mr. Barney Cross, entered into rest Thursday, June 29, 2006, at University Hospital, Augusta, Ga.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 2, 2006, at Harlem United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Roger Vest officiating. Interment was in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, Thomson.
Mrs. Cross was born in Camilla, Ga., and was a member of the Harlem United Methodist Church for 50 years.
Survivors include her husband, Barney Cross; her daughter, Julie Weeks and son-in- law Howard, Harlem; one son, Tommy Norris and daughter-in-law Cindy; Martinez; two sisters, Nona McCranie and Ronnie Brooks, both of Albany; one brother, W.W. Kirbo, Camilla, Ga.; two grandsons, Adam and Chandler Norris, Martinez; and three step-daughters, Bonnie Sandfielder, Roswell, Brenda Cross, Kingsland, and Becki Trujillo, California.; and many nieces and nephews.; and two step-grandchildren, Heather Grubbs, North Augusta, and Travis Weeks, Marietta.
