THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Julia Montgomery Reeves, 84, widow of Mr. Paul F. Montgomery and Mr. James Reeves died Saturday, July 2, 2005 in the McDuffie Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, in the Thomson Second Baptist Church with Dr. Ron Drawdy officiating. Burial was in Westview Cemetery.
Mrs. Reeves was a native of McDuffie County. She was retired from the McDuffie County Hospital after 35 years of service in the Business Office. She was a member of the Thomson Second Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Beverly Young, Thomson; her two sons, Larry Montgomery, Thomson, and James A. Montgomery, Appling; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Richard Scott Young, Clayton Lea Montgomery, James Blake Montgomery, Nathanael Allen Montgomery, Dennis Allen and Howard Burnley.
