Army band performs Thomson High School Band Director Jesse Morlan gets ready to conduct his other band, the 246th Army Band, South Carolina Army National Guard. The band played a concert on July 2 in the Monroe Kimbrell Gardens located behind the Watson Brown Fondation offices on Tom Watson Way in Thomson. Chief Warrant Officer Morlan has been with the 246th Army National Guard Band for 12 years. He assumed command of the band in April of 2000.
