Mr. Lloyd Kent
Retired County Road Superintendent

THOMSON, Ga.- Mr. Lloyd Kent, 79, widower of Mrs. Clyde Poss Kent, of Thomson, died Sunday, July 4, 2004 at his residence.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Kitchens officiating. Burial was in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Kent was a native of Glascock County, but had lived in Thomson for many years. He was a retired County Road Superintendent. He was a member of the First Assembly Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Patricia Lonergan, Thomson; his sister, Beatrice Sheffield, Thomson; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
